- I constantly get called CharMAINE! That’s why I usually add a phonetic spelling behind my name whenever I get the opportunity. So since this is another opportunity, here we go… I am Dr. Charminae (pronounced Shar-MEN-A & not Shar-MAINE LOL!). YES, I will correct you if you make this mistake. So, don’t say I didn’t warn you. HA!
- I am a free-spirited badass! I regularly march to the beat of my own drum because my beat is the only sound that I truly vibe with. If you feel me on this, snap your fingers in the air right now because this means that you are my people! Lovin’ the rhythms of our own vibes is the key to living an authentic life, IMO!
Ok, let’s focus on the perinatal experience, shall we!…Why am I so committed to Charms of Care?
Well, the truth is that I have been divinely guided to do this work. I am not a mother, and honestly, for the majority of my life, I was never interested in becoming one either. And I’m still not 100% sure about this, but I am now very open to it, which is pretty interesting to me, to say the least. So, we shall see what happens.
Anyhoo, ever since I was a little girl, I have always found pregnancy to be so fascinating, but I didn’t know why. After chiropractic school, I started to notice that there was way more to my fascination and weird curiosity than normal, so I decided to continue following the inner compass that dwells within me, and it led me right here! And boy, oh boy, this journey has been the biggest hug to my soul because I absolutely LOVE what I do. It literally fills my cup beyond the brim.
As you can see, I don’t have my own perinatal experience to pull from, but what I do have is over 10 years’ worth of experience that is filled with hundreds of mamas that I have had the privilege to serve. With this unique & unbiased approach, I am able to care for this community with unfiltered eyes and a loving heart. Combining my soul with my knowledge & skills is the perfect blend that allows me to express two of my greatest gifts that continue to support the quality of my care, which is to LOVE & NURTURE! These two words are the foundation of what Charms of Care was built on, and it continues to be the driving force behind the sound of my voice and the touch of my hands with every mama that I experience.
So, I am not your average chiropractor, nor will I ever be, and I am perfectly okay with that because I want my heart to effortlessly lead the way as I continue to serve the beautiful mamas who enter this safe space of care! Through this highly transformative phase, I am here to welcome you with open arms & offer support that is grounded in creating more ease & peace along your journey to mamahood & beyond.
